“Lição de Cinema” project was born in 2019 with the support of the Knowledge Academies of the Caloust Gulbenkian Foundation. Main objectives: Combat disinterest and school dropout. Develop resilience, achieve active participation and assiduous presence. Develop cognitive and verbal procedures, consolidate logical and discursive cognitive structures. Promote the skills of dialogue, respect and tolerance through the creation of debates. Improve children’s well-being by strengthening their self-esteem.
Using a constructive formula that promotes critical thinking and problem solving, encouraging the participation of all group members. Validating all opinions, working on the idea that there are no wrong answers and that all points of view are valid, promoting each individual’s confidence in himself.
