
Ana Sofia Fonseca

Award-winning director and producer, she’s the founder of Carrossel Produções (Lisbon) and co-founder of Uabá Filmes, on the island of São Vicente. Directed the documentaries “Cesária Évora”, “Setembro A Vida Inteira” and “Os Dias Contados”. The film “Cesária Évora” (2022) was in more than 60 festivals (including SXSW, IDFA, Doc New York City) and won several awards. It was distributed in cinemas, in television and in streaming in several countries. She began her career in journalism and published six books, including a novel.

Anne Schultka
Alemanha, Germany
Holds an MA in Media Management and a BA in Intercultural Studies, Psychology and Economics. Started her work as a project manager at KIDS Regio in 2018, and became a member of the board of the German Children’s Film Association in 2022. Published a research report on Children in Film Culture; in 2021 with the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Initiated and supervised the pan-European research project; Keeping Up with Children as an Audience; (2024). Additionally, she is the author of the Cine Regio Gender, Equality and Diversity Report, published in 2021 and 2024. Since 2023 is the head of the industry programme of the German Children’s Media Festival Golden Sparrow and since 2024 has taken on the role of head of industry for the Lübeck Meetings; at the Nordic Film Days Lübeck.

António-Pedro
Portugal
Founder and co-artistic director of Caótica, where he combines music, cinema and the performing arts. He is interested in biography in its broad and political sense. Has directed documentaries and short films. ‘Mississipis’ is his first feature film. Has composed soundtracks for several films and performances. He develops pedagogical and community activities with various organisations such as the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. He has a degree in sociology, studied cinema at Lisbon Nova University and music at the Hot Club of Portugal and at the Drummers Collective in New York

Jessica Cohen

Since 2023 Jessica has managed the Cinekid talent development programmes, Script LAB and Directors LAB, as well as coordinating the broader Cinekid for Professionals programme. Before that she worked with Deckert Distribution, at IFFR, Sheffield Doc Fest and at IDFA, coordinating their two markets: Forum and Docs for Sale.

Ricardo Vieira
Portugal
Has a degree from the The Lisbon Theatre and Film School in Film Project Development, in the area of Directing and Dramaturgy, and a degree from the Inst. Sup. Técnico in Applied Mathematics. He is a film programmer and has worked at the Portuguese Cinematheque since 2023. Since 2013, he has collaborated with the IndieLisboa festival, taking on programming, communication and conference organisation roles. As a critic, he writes regularly for the website À pala de Walsh, which he co-founded in 2012. He joined the Porto/Post/Doc team as content editor between 2021 and 2022, where he co-organised the first edition of Critics Lab. Among other things, he edited Cinemateca catalogues and co-edited the books ‘The Cinema of Words – Interviews with Walsh’ (2024) and ‘Cinema Died – Criticism and Cinephilia with Walsh’ (2017). He has been a lecturer at Universidade Lusófona since 2024.
